My Rosebud
Below is a little essay written a few years ago by a child at Thompson Child & Family Focus. It is an observation about a rosebud on a bush full of blossoming roses. A former co-worker of mine found it when looking through some files and passed it on to me. I still get tears in my eyes when I read the last sentence of the essay... it makes me think of Grant.

Karen, your boys are so precious (and, coincidentally, have the only two baby boy names we like for future kids...how weird is that?). I loved clicking through your blog and reading about your children. You and Aaron have a beautiful family!
