I have enjoyed the still mornings and the calm that takes place after a week of hurried activity. The blinking cursor urges me to type my thoughts but I simply feel... quiet. And so I hushed my heart and allowed time to be silent.
How good it feels to take time to rest!

Our week...Wesley giving his shadow a "high-five"
Sadie-kitty needed a hug
We all went down the the handy-man's country club (aka: Lowe's) and the boys had a great time riding around in the cart and greeting everyone we walked past.
Look out! Grant's driving!
Move over, Grant. It's my turn to drive!

An Ode to Grant's Bat...
My dearest red bat, you have been swung a hundred times each day.
You are always there for me when I want to play.
So sad was the day you broke;
I didn't know how I would cope.
My parents searched all over town;
Alas, no replacement could be found.
But Daddy fixed you up for me, so all is good.
Yes, all is back to be as it should.
Glad the bat was fixed:) I noticed at Crazy 8 and Gymboree there are lots of baseball themed clothes. Gymboree is kind of spendy but I know they have been having more sales this last year. I never buy fully priced from there.Thought of your boys when I was browsing for fun:)
ReplyDeleteDevin also said that Wesley isn't supposed to rid in the cart like that. LOL LOL Abby:)
