Pumpkin Patch 2018 {Film Journey}

The annual visit to the local pumpkin patch is another fall favorite. A wagon ride, petting farm and pumpkin-picking with Grandma and Grandpa Mayes all make for a great family outing.

At one point we lost Grant. It happens so quickly. My stomach lurched while yelling his name and frantically looking around. Naturally, he had simply followed one of the farm dogs to the little stand and made friends with one of the farm owners. (SMH)

Sometimes I feel like Mary searching for 12-year-old Jesus when I find Grant (he is always with a dog). I imagine Grant looking up at me and replying to my frazzled state by saying, "Didn't you know I would be with a dog?"

Wesley is pretending to ride a bucking bronco and Grant is waving his hat while yelling, "Yee-haw!" :-)

OK, so these pictures are clearly not from the pumpkin patch, but they were on the same roll of film  and I wanted to share them.

Wesley had a fantastic fall baseball season. His team got second place. Woohoo! Wesley greatly improved his swing and continued to play great defense at second and shortstop.
