Worship Wednesday: Rest

Today is one of those days when I wish I could just stay in bed and hide underneath the blankets and let life pass me by for a while... Instead, I will seek refuge and REST in my Savior's arms.

Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from Him. Truly He is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will never be shaken. Psalm 62:1-2

Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

I praise you, Lord, for your unconditional love and mighty hand. Your ways are truly a mystery to me. However, you have made your love for me abundantly clear.

  1. Praying for you.

Saw your last tweet, and I am burdened to share with you that two of my favorite people in the world have FragileX. I cannot explain to you the work God has done in my life through these sweet boys (now men).

I hesitated to even share, because I know that no words other than His can comfort when our minds are spinning, but please know that even THIS has been used for His glory in a mighty, mighty way.

Praying for His calming presence to ease your mind and calm your heart as you wait on Him.
